Week 2 PFA Recap
PFA Week 2 Recap & Preview: Statement Wins, Shocking Defeats, and Big Games Ahead
As Week 2 of the Players Football Association wraps up, fans were treated to dominant performances, key matchups, and a clearer picture of early-season contenders. While this serves as both a recap and a preview due to a late update, the action on the field hasn’t slowed down one bit. Here’s how it all went down:
3A Showdown: Bison Dominate Warhawks in Crossover Clash
Indy Bison 48 (2-0) – Circle City Warhawks 8
In a highly anticipated 3A vs 2A crossover, the Indy Bison proved once again why they’re one of the league’s most feared teams. From the opening kickoff, the Bison imposed their will, cruising to a 48-8 win over the overmatched Warhawks. With explosive offense and stifling defense, Indy left no doubt.
Looking ahead, the Bison host the 2A powerhouse Cincinnati Hawks in what’s already being dubbed an early candidate for Game of the Year.
Ravens Return with a Statement Win
Detroit Ravens 35 (2-0) – Cleveland Rams 12
After waiting to hit the field, the Detroit Ravens finally got their season rolling and wasted no time asserting their dominance. Traveling to Cleveland, the Ravens looked every bit the part of a championship contender, rolling past the Rams 35-12. The Ravens will now prepare to host the Beaver County Arctic Bengals at home in Week 3.
Rams Awarded Forfeit Win
Motor City Rams 21 – Kalamazoo Titans 0 (Forfeit)
There was no action on the field in this one, as the Kalamazoo Titans were forced to forfeit, giving the Motor City Rams a 21-0 victory. The Rams benefit in the standings, but will have to stay sharp for more competitive matchups ahead.
Raiders Rally Past Bills to Extend Historic Streak
Racine Raiders (2-0) 31 – Michigan Bills (1-1) 14
This matchup had all the hype—and for good reason. The Michigan Bills came in with momentum and struck first at home in Monroe, but the Racine Raiders lived up to their reputation. Down 16-14 at the half, the Raiders stormed back in the second with a dominant showing, scoring unanswered points and securing their 29th consecutive win—an organizational record.
The Raiders are showing no signs of slowing down as they visit the Flag City Phantoms in Week 3.
Broncos Edge Phantoms in Defensive Duel
Ohio Broncos 7 – Flag City Phantoms 0 (0-2)
Points were hard to come by in this defensive battle, but the Broncos did just enough to walk away with the win. The Phantoms now fall to 0-2, with both losses coming in close, low-scoring affairs. They’ll need to find some rhythm fast as they host the red-hot Raiders next week.
Rapids Rout Warriors in One-Sided Blowout
Rapids 46 – Lima Warriors 6 (0-2)
It was all Rapids in this lopsided contest. The Lima Warriors looked out of sync and simply outmatched, falling to 0-2 after giving up 46 points. With two rough weeks behind them, the Warriors are still searching for their first win—and their identity—in 2025.
NWO Warlocks vs Cleveland Cobra’s
This game ended due to some on the field issues, ended by the officials since it was the home team that was involved the Warlocks get the forefit 21-0, now a win is a win but the Warlocks have yet to play a full game, is this cause for cocern? Its scary times to not have seen anything from this team going into week 3.
Week 3 is shaping up to be another thrilling slate with must-watch matchups across the board. Can the Bison stay perfect against the Hawks? Will the Raiders push their streak to 30? And can any of the struggling teams find their footing? Stay tuned.
